Most forms of microgeneration, including microwind, are somewhat more expensive than buying electricity from the grid unless unusually high tax advantages and/or subsidies are available. Of course for most Ampair customers over the years there was no grid alternative and so microgeneration was actually cheaper. If you have a grid connected house, office, or factory once the microwind turbine has been purchased you have energy for free. So there are very good reasons to install microgeneration whoever you are.
